Contemporary Issues Lecture Series, Part Two: Expositional Preaching

From Undergraduate Chapel: Fall 2009

Mark Dever, Senior Pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church, continues the 6th annual Contemporary Issues Lecture Series with a message titled "Expositional Preaching". Mark Dever exhorts the Talbot Community to study the Word of God and preach in expositional terms. He speaks from Ezekiel 37:1-14 to explain that God puts His Spirit in people through His Word so that they may live. Mark Dever states that the Scriptures are the authoritative guide to the will and ways of God. He concludes by stating that this is the "time of the ear" and in this time, until we see God, it is the time to preach God's word.
