Clark Fobes grew up in San Francisco and began attending Sunset Church early in 2000 as a junior high student. Six months later, he accepted Christ at a summer church retreat and began walking with Jesus. While attending Lowell High School, he was involved in Sunset's AK/JS Youth Ministries, as well his high school campus Christian club, Agape. After graduating from high school, he left for college to UC Irvine where he majored in East Asian studies and Chinese. Shortly after, he began his seminary studies at Talbot School of Theology, where he where he graduated with a M.Div degree. His love for San Francisco and his passion to see youth students embrace the Gospel led him to return to the city and Sunset Church to shepherd the youth and see the lost come to faith. This same passion for the lost has led Clark to plan to eventually move overseas to East Asia, in hopes of serving as a long-term church planting missionary for the Gospel amongst the unreached people groups.
