Jesus' Ministry and Understanding the Culture

From 2013 SCORR Conference

Pastor Adam Edgerly looks to Luke 4, where Jesus quotes Isaiah to his home congregation, to understand the necessity for reconciliation with one's own identity. He explains that the Jews' lack of reconciliation with their past inhibited them from being reconciled to the world. Edgerly urges his audience to accept their new identity in Christ so that they can forgive those who have harmed them.
